We’re basically obsessed with nourishing beverages. What better way to pack in nutrients than to combine 2 of the most vital drinking methods we know- SMOOTHIES + TEA.
It’s really easy! All you have to do is steep a cup of tea as you normally would, and then allow it to cool in the fridge. Next, you go about making your smoothie as per usual – but this time, you use TEA as the base. Still want the creaminess of milk? Try half/half’ing it. Part tea, part milk! You’ll be super-boosting your smoothie with herbal power. All of our teas have essential minerals, adaptogens, antioxidants, anti inflammatories, and a wealth of other benefits.
Another idea- you could turn your steeped tea into ICE CUBES to add to your smoothies conveniently at any time. YUM!
Here’s a recipe we’ve been super into:
ENERGIZING MANGO SMOOTHIE
– 1/4 cup Frozen Mango
– 1/4 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
– 1/2 a frozen banana
– 1/4 cup coconut milk
– 2 dates (or maple syrup, or sweetener of choice)
– 1/4 Cup of WOKE blend (steeped for 20 minutes, drained, then cooled in fridge)
